I believe that I have cosmic religious feelings.

I believe that I have cosmic religious feelings. I never could
grasp how one could satisfy these feelings by praying to
limited objects.

The tree outside is life, a statue is dead.

The whole of nature is life, and life, as I observe it,
rejects a God resembling man.

High recognitions . . . . The Lord gives it to His own in their sleep!

“By no means has the origin of mankind always been the impenetrable mystery it is today. Ancient civilizations knew exactly of the connections with their earthly existence……….
In that remote time, which will never return, the following saying was fully borne out: The Lord gives it to His own in their sleep! Nowadays many things have changed. Wisdom, the true knowledge which helps man ascend, is very rare. The channels that are linked to the spirit are disturbed and in most cases even completely obstructed. Intellect is confused with spirit! And the Truth? The Truth is buried under the rubbish of lies and errors!”

– Roselis von Sass (The Birth of Mankind)

(In The Light of Truth) by Abd-ru-shin

Ode To A Mystic

I hope for you
The fires of transformation
that burns away the dross of ego
leaving oneness, love, and light.

May you breathe the breath of being
With the wings of an eagle to soar
Cultivating the heart of a mother
to give life on every shore

For you are the spring of heaven
A breeze in the desert of life
Giving hope to the hopeless and broken
Bringing grace, being, and light.

Sunday reflection . . . . The realm is a sacred vessel

Whoever takes hold of the realm
And wants to manipulate it
Will have no peace.
The realm is a sacred vessel
That should not be interfered with.
Whoever touches it will spoil it.
Whoever grasps it will lose it.
Some lead and some follow,
Some breathe easily, some breathe hard,
Some are strong and some are weak,
Some destroy: some are destroyed.
So the wise avoid excess,
Avoid the pompous, and the arrogant.

. . . . When our wounds cease to be a source of shame,

Nobody escapes being wounded. We are all wounded people, whether physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. The main question is not, ‘How can we hide our wounds?’ so we don’t have to be embarrassed, but ‘How can we put our woundedness in the service of others?’ When our wounds cease to be a source of shame, and become a source of healing, we have become wounded healers.

~~Henri Nouwen
