Eastertide . . . Maundy Thursday

  Holy Thursday
And in this frigid hour, when the earth
Smells of human dust and is so sad,
I want to knock on every door
And beg forgiveness of I don’t know whom,
And bake bits of fresh bread for him (or her)
Here, in the oven of my heart…!

~Cesar Vallejo, “Our Bread”

Giver of life!

Giver of life, give me strength

that I may do my work with

consideration, true to the goal

to watch out for those whose life

have been entrusted to my care,

Keep my lips from

offending words, give me clear

eyes, to see the good in others.

Give me gentle hands, a kind

heart and patient soul. That

through your grace pain is

soothed, sick bodies are being

healed, the mind is strengthened,

may the living rise again.

Lenten Thoughts #5…..As we awaken in the vast wonder of God.

Everything becomes sacred when we walk with God.
Every leaf, every tree, every eye, and open heart.
The ground we work and plant.
The words we write and sing.
The ones we bless and honor…
Every person becomes Beloved
As we awaken in the vast wonder of God.”

High recognitions . . . . “Judgment of the dead”

“When one speaks of a Judgment of the dead, this does not refer to the dead earthly bodies that have long disintegrated back to dust in their tombs. The word ‘dead’ makes reference to all those who have already incarnated over fifty times on Earth and have not yet found the way to the Light and the Truth, and who also bear no longing for the Light.”

– Roselis von Sass (The Book of the Last Judgment)
The author draws inspiration from “The Grail Message” (In The Light of Truth) by Abd-ru-shin

Lenten Thoughts #4 . . . . Praying with the Earth

May the angels of light
glisten for us this day.
May the sparks of God’s beauty
dance in the eyes of those we love.
May the universe
be on fire with Presence for us this day.
May the sun’s rising
grace us with gratitude
Let earth’s greenest shine
and it’s waters breathe with Spirit.
Let heaven’s winds stir with the soil of our soul
and fresh awakenings rise within us.
May the mighty angels of light
glisten in all things this day
May they summon us to reverence,
may they call us to life.

#Omens&Symbols . . . . Nature’s mandala…cabbage.

A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in the Indian religions of Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. In common use, “mandala” has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically; a microcosm of the universe
