Rhythms of Valentine’s Day

With Valentine’s Day approaching, here is a little celebration in images,…
one that illustrates a tale about the undying love between
a young girl and a curious Bear-Boy.

“Violette and Ourson,” written by Sofiya Feodorovna, Countess of Segur, mid 19th century.

#SoftTuesday . . . . Their hearts have not grown old.

Unwearied still, lover by lover,
They paddle in the cold
Companionable streams or climb the air;
Their hearts have not grown old.

~ W.B.Yeats

#SoftTuesday . . . . She is like a white rose!

“The King’s son had waited a whole year for his bride, and at last she had arrived. A Russian
Princess, she had come in a sleigh drawn by six reindeer. So pale was she that as she drove
through the streets the people wondered. ‘She is like a white rose!’ they cried, and threw
down flowers on her from the balconies.”

From “The Remarkable Rocket” by Oscar Wilde. Illus. by Charles Robinson, 1911

Happy Festival of The Rose!

Today, 29th December, the sun specially vibrates with the Rays of Love!

The intense Rays of Love stream down from the Luminous Heights in the Festival of The Rose, also known as, The Festival of The Radiant Star; reminiscent of the Star that once stood above a manger in Bethlehem and much more!

The earth, nature and nature beings all rise in joyful praise to the Almighty for this Immeasurable Grace!

Among mankind, the few who know, assemble and bow their spirits in a solemn Festival as the sun reaches its zenith in their various lands! With gratitude they echo the words of Gbémi Léke Freimann:

“As we are preparing today, for the High Festival of Radiant Star,
May we in humble devotion, open up ourselves like a flower,
and also in Childlike Simplicity to absorb the Ray of Power of Divine Love Spark
in order for us transform This Power in our various immediate environment and for noble deeds.
Amen!”

Happy Festival!

It is pure and beautiful
like the moon’s reflection on a quiet lake.”

Something amazing happens when we surrender and just love,

“Something amazing happens when we surrender and just love,
we melt into another world, a realm of power already within us.
The world changes when we change, the world softens when we soften.
The world loves us when we choose to love the world.”

~ Marianne Williamson

#SoftTuesday . . . Now it is time for our souls to make love. .

“Though I hold your hands and press you to my breast.
I fill my arms with your loveliness,
and plunder your sweet smiles with kisses.
I drink your dark glances with my eyes.
I try to reach your beautiful spirit, but it eludes me,
leaving only your body in my hands.
Baffled and weary I come back.
My body has loved your body.
Now it is time for our souls to make love.”
.

~ Rabindranath Tagore

#EmotionalWednesday . . . faces of love!

Some would say that love is messy,
Some would say that love is blind,
Some would say that love is cruel
And leaves deep scars behind.

But I say love is selfless,
Love is caring, love is kind,
Love takes all the broken pieces
And heals both heart and mind.”
