Some comments make instant positive hits; they fill you with inspiration, encouragement, love, peace and joy! They are the ones that make your day; the blogger,s delight and reward!
I consider myself particularly lucky for attracting many such comments on daily basis and also being privileged to connect with amazing minds from all walks of life and all over the globe! Connecting with the side of humanity that makes you proud that you belong to the human species! There is hope for humanity!
In spite of the daily gory tales of woes, the hypocrisies of religion,  subterfuges of politics,  meanness of commercialism and the enervating effect of spiritual Darkness, there is still hope for humanity! There are virtuous souls out there that you can truly call friends, brothers and sisters! Souls who fill their every word with life and blessings!
As a token of appreciation I am starting this series titled “Vintage Comments” to share the thoughts of these inspiring minds; like the saying goes, “a blessing shared is a blessing multiplied”! For now it will comprise responses to posts on this blog but, with time, I hope to feature excerpts from other blog posts/comments after obtaining necessary permission!

Moving Forward…….a Christian perspective!

Two of Australia’s indigenous creatures, kangaroos and emus, have something in common—they seldom move backward. Kangaroos, because of the shape of their body and the length of their strong tail, can bounce along with forward movement, but they cannot shift easily into reverse. Emus can run fast on their strong legs, but the joints in their knees seem to make backward movement difficult. Both animals appear on Australia’s coat of arms as a symbol that the nation is to be ever moving forward and making progress.

The apostle Paul called for a similar approach to the life of faith in his letter to the Philippians: “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (3:13-14).

While it is wise to learn from the past, we shouldn’t live in the past. We cannot redo or undo the past, but by God’s grace we can press forward and serve God faithfully today and in the future. The life of faith is a journey forward as we become like Christ and looking forward to the fulfillment of our expected desires.

I’m pressing on the upward way,
New heights I’m gaining every day;
Still praying as I’m onward bound,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”

I WILL GO ANYWHERE – PROVIDED IT IS FORWARD.

REMEMBER, KEEP FAITH ALIVE!!!

Easter Bells……..a call to reawakening for all human spirits!

 EASTER……a festival for all!

This week, we join our Christian brothers and sisters in celebrating Easter Festival. This festival is considered the high point of the Christian religion as it touches directly on the life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, whose message forms the pillar of Christianity.

WE JOIN IN REFLECTION
We join other seekers for Truth in reflecting on the significance of Christ’s life and mission; His death, resurrection and redemption work:
1. Was Christ’s work of redemption solely to lay down His life and with His precious blood wash away our sins? Does salvation lie only in His death and blood? If so, all we have to do for our salvation, is accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior and ‘’cast all our guilt upon Him; for He has redeemed us and by His wounds we are healed.’’
(1.2) How about the portentous intercession of Christ as He hung on the Cross in dire agony, ‘’Father! Forgive them for they know not what they do.’’ Was this not and indictment on all those who participated in His Crucifixion, who were supposed to be serving a Divine purpose? Was His crucifixion a criminal and condemnable act which was against the Will of God? Would any Christian believer today wish to have participated in the crucifixion as the fulfillment of a Divine Order?

2. Or, was Christ’s work of redemption to transmit unblemished Truth to mankind through His Word (message) and thereby open the way to the forgiveness of all sins? Does salvation lie only in His Word? If so, for our salvation, we have to absorb His Word and live our lives according to It! Thereby, the magnetic radiance of the Truth of His Word will cleanse us of our sins.
(2.1) How about His reassuring declaration, ‘’I am the Way, the Truth and Life….No man cometh unto the Father but by me.’’ Is this ‘ME’ limited and earthly personal, or is it the transcendental Christ-Spirit? Does the ‘Truth’ which Jesus stood for and brought to all mankind not embrace the Truths contained in other religions and teachings? Is salvation for Christians or Church members only?

WE JOIN IN GRATITUDE!
We bow our spirits at the feet of the Most High in gratitude for His unfathomable Grace upon mankind in sending His Love Incarnate, Jesus Christ! We join Christians in spirit and volition in their Hours of Commemorative Worship!

WE JOIN IN PRAYERS!
May mankind heed the Easter bells as they proclaim the resurrection of the human spirit to Love, Peace and goodwill!
Just like nature, at this time of the year, shines forth in the splendors of spring, in rebirth and in reawakening, may the sublime crown of Truth shine forth in all lands, guide us to the Right Paths and free us from all Darkness!
AMEN
