Many who are conversant with the workings of the Law of Homogeneity and its popular variant The Law of Attraction find it difficult to come to terms with the assertion that “likes repel, opposites attract”! Is this opposed to the Law of Homogeneity or, does it in any way indicate the imperfection of the Law?
Not at all! Like we repeatedly say, “The Eternal Laws of Creation are exact to the minutest detail because they are the expressions of the perfect Will of the Almighty! Where uncertainties and imperfections are found they only arise from man’s limited understanding and application!” Let us see how this plays out here!
If you have been following this series, you would recall that the phrase “The Law of Homogeneity” is an abbreviation for “The Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species”. Like the full name implies, the Law highlights the homogeneous or, complete species! For instance, chickens are collectively a complete bird species; the eagles are another complete species, so also the vultures, doves and so on!
Swinging with the Law, each species (birds of the same feather) flock together! The completeness of the species lies in the homogeneous group and not in individual members! Each member is only a part or, a splitting of the species and naturally strives for union in order to achieve completeness! This ‘desire for union’ which is more or less a sub-species law, propels each member towards others with complementary qualities/attributes and not those with similar qualities so as to fill the gaps in individual endowments! This ensures the preservation and survival of the species
Thus, The Law of Homogeneity (going back to the abbreviated form) looms large and encompasses all forms of attractions and unions; in this case it dictates the attraction of species and provides the impetus for the desire for union among members of a species! First and foremost, chickens flock with chickens, only then does the rooster desire the company of the hen and does not go out of the Chicken fold!
The Law of Homogeneity and the law of desire for union (likes repel) work towards the same goal: The Law of Homogeneity as the guiding hand and parent Law while the latter is its offshoot! As Natalia de Lemeny-Makedonova, the Author of “Eternal Laws” puts it in her explanation of The Law of Homogeneity:
“The Law of Completing a Unit is closely connected with the foregoing law. According to this law, within the same species, in time of maturity, two opposing poles attract each other – the positive and the negative, the male and the female, a man and a woman. Together they create a perfect unit. That’s why the prerequisite for the Law of Completing a Unit is homogeneity. A rooster and a hen can breed, but not a rooster and a cat, as they belong to different species. Two hens also will not breed even though they are of the same species, they lack the opposite pole.”
The subtle difference between a complete species and splittings of a species can be seen in humans and their thoughts! Each human being is a splitting and desires unions like marriage where the positive active male complements what the female lacks in coarse energy and ruggedness, and the negative passive female reciprocates with a presence better attuned to absorbing and dispensing finer radiations and pure Light Pressure! On the other hand, human thought forms are complete species and only attract similar thought forms! Hence, pure thoughts only attract or, are attracted to correspondingly pure thought forms/centers: love begets love, not hatred!
In summary, complete species stick together while part species strive for union with the opposite complement but, only within the same homogeneous species in full compliance with Creation’s Eternal Law of The Attraction of Homogeneous Species!
