Diwali is here!

Once again the Festival of Lights, the Hindu Festival known as Diwali or, Deepavali is here!

The uplifting emotions and significance of the festival make it a celebration to look forward to. Diwali signifies “the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. The beginning of a new cycle for positive change and an auspicious time to seek the help of Maha Lakshmi, for both material and spiritual wealth and prosperity!

Lighting a lamp during the festival symbolizes the destruction of darkness and all negative forces like violence, oppression, greed, wickedness, bigotry, etc. through knowledge.

We wish our friends all over the world a joyful festival as they share loving thoughts among fellow human beings and look up to Luminous Heights for help and spiritual sustenance.

May the festival not only remind us of the Eternal Light but, also rekindle the longing to grasp the Will of the Light and free our souls from all forms of darkness!

Happy Diwali, dear friends!

When doubt becomes a habit!

“There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt.
Doubt separates people.
It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations.
It is a thorn that irritates and hurts; it is a sword that kills.”

“Once again, we are reminded that awakening, or enlightenment is not the property of Buddhism, any more than Truth is the property of Christianity.

Neither the Buddha nor the Christ belongs exclusively to the communities that were founded in their names.

They belong to all people of goodwill, all who are attentive to the secret which lives in the depths of their breath and their consciousness.”

To be born again is to be spiritually awakened and signifies a change in inner consciousness ie it is an inner spiritual experience, not something to be acquired through following doctrines of man made belief systems. Being “born again” refers to the spirit being re-born to the light.
Reincarnation on the other end refers to re-embodiment or rebirth of the soul in another earthly body.
