Don’t ever take advantage of a good heart.

” When someone is ready to sacrifice for you but you are not ready
to do the same for them, it is best either to walk away or grow….
Don’t ever take advantage of a good heart. No one owes you anything.”

– Daniela Nikolova

. . . . . often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.

“Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not;
and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.”

#SoftTuesday . . . . The step ladder to real growth…

Love isn’t material.
It’s energy.
It’s the feeling in a room, a situation, a person.
Money can’t buy it.
Sex doesn’t guarantee it.
It has nothing at all to do with the physical world,
but it can be expressed nonetheless.
We experience it as
kindness,
giving, mercy,
compassion,
peace,
joy,
acceptance,
non-judgement,
joining,
and intimacy…

Remember when there was a void in your life?

Remember when there was a void in your life, seemed to be no way up or out, and then suddenly a way was cleared? You may think you did it on your own, without the help from anyone, but you didn’t realize where the help was really coming from.

. . . . When our wounds cease to be a source of shame,

Nobody escapes being wounded. We are all wounded people, whether physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. The main question is not, ‘How can we hide our wounds?’ so we don’t have to be embarrassed, but ‘How can we put our woundedness in the service of others?’ When our wounds cease to be a source of shame, and become a source of healing, we have become wounded healers.

. . . . and Laura spoke

Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, then don’t remember me at all.
