#FridayFantasy . . . I’m In Love With Mud.

I’m in love with mud,
It’s sad, I know, but true.
I just can’t help but splash in it,
Or stomp a path right through.

It’s sticky and it’s dirty,
And it covers all my clothes.
But when I see it lying there,
A voice inside me grows…

…You can’t resist, you know I’m right,
It’s fun to play in mud!
Look at it just sitting there,
I really think you should!

I splatter in the grimy gloop,
I can’t resist the ooze!
I run, I jump, I stamp about,
It drips into my shoes!

#FridayFantasy . . .Listening to the birds. And that squirrel….

“Say, Pooh, why aren’t you busy?” I said.
“Because it’s a nice day,” said Pooh.
“Yes, but —“
“Why ruin it?” he said.
“But you could be doing something Important,” I said.
“I am, ” said Pooh.
“Oh? Doing what?”
“Listening,” he said.
“Listening to what?”
“To the birds. And that squirrel over there.”
“What are they saying?” I asked.
“That it’s a nice day,” said Pooh.
“But you know that already,” I said.
“Yes, but it’s always good to hear that somebody else thinks so, too,” he replied.

If you smile at me
I will understand
cause that is something
everybody everywhere does
in the same language.

#SoftTuesday . . . .To crown my daily lot,

“I do not ask for splendour
To crown my daily lot,
But this I ask – a kitchen
Where the kettle’s always hot.”

One of the shining moments of the day….

“One of the shining moments of the day is that when, having returned a little
weary from an afternoon walk, I exchange boots for slippers, out-of-door coat
for easy, familiar, shabby jacket, and, in my deep, soft-elbowed chair, await
the tea-tray…
How delicious is the soft yet penetrating odour which floats into my study, with
the appearance of the teapot! What a glow does it bring after a walk in chilly

Teatime Poem!

When the world is all at odds, and the mind is all at sea.
Then cease the useless tedium, and brew a cup of tea.
There is magic in its fragrance, there is solace in its taste.
And the laden moments vanish, somehow into space.
The world becomes a lovely thing, there’s beauty as you’ll see.
All because you briefly stopped to brew a cup of tea.

Here’s A Nut.

Here’s A Nut.

‘Here’s a nut, there’s a nut;
Hide it quick away,
In a hole, under leaves,
To eat some winter day.
Acorns sweet are plenty,
We will have them all:
Skip and scamper lively
Till the last ones fall.’

Happy New Month of July!

Welcome to the month of freedom and liberty!
July has one of the longest lists of Independence Day anniversaries; more than twenty days of the month are Independence celebration days for various countries including good old Uncle Sam (USA)!
It’s as if a special July energy triggers the ‘freedom hormones’ in humans urging them to break both individual and collective fetters!

Welcome to the month of 7: the 7th month of the year, one of the 7 months with thirty-one days! 7, the number of wisdom, Divinity, royalty, Purple and so phenomenally interwoven with life and existence in Creation that it is rightly said “wherever 7 manifests the Will of God is present.”

Let us look as some familiar recurrence of the number:
the 7-pointed star with 7 Tops, 7 Worlds, 7 candlesticks, 7 floors, 7 Gems in the Crown of Primordial, 7 niches, 7 days, 7 Chakras, 7 colors of the Rainbow, 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Wonders,, 7 Notes – A B C D E F G, 7 Seas , 7 Continents, 7 Sins, 7th Sign, 7 SEALED SCROLLS, 7 Angels , 7 Trumpets, 7 Metals of Alchemy, 7 Dwarfs , 7th inning stretch, 7th heaven, 7 Brides for Brothers…

…and July babies; like the various hues of rubies, their birthstone, sometimes lively, adorable and happy-go-lucky, at other times, moody, almost pessimistic but, largely trustworthy! Happy Birthday on your various birth days!

Happy New Month to everyone!
May we all find the strength for spiritual freedom and ascent!
