Every good and perfect gift is from above

“Every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of the heavenly
lights, who does not change like shifting shadows”

~ Bible(James 1:17).

Happy Festival of The Holy Dove!

Pentecost!
As the hour draws nearer for you all knowing ones worldwide,
may the blessings of the Day of the Holy Spirit rejuvenate
and stir us all unto greater works as demanded of us
in the Day of Judgement.
Amen.
Happy Festival celebration.

See the land, her Easter keeping

See the land, her Easter keeping,
Rises as her Maker rose.
Seeds, so long in darkness sleeping,
Burst at last from winter snows.
Earth with heaven above rejoices;
Fields and gardens hail the spring;
Shaughs and woodlands ring with voices,
While the wild birds build and sing.

You, to whom your Maker granted
Powers to those sweet birds unknown,
Use the craft by God implanted;
Use the reason not your own.
Here, while heaven and earth rejoices,
Each his Easter tribute bring-
Work of fingers, chant of voices,
Like the birds who build and sing.

One Easter Day, when sap was stirring twigs to the core;

I watched a blackbird on a budding sycamore
One Easter Day, when sap was stirring twigs to the core;
I saw his tongue, and crocus-coloured bill
Parting and closing as he turned his trill;
Then he flew down, seized on a stem of hay,
And upped to where his building scheme was under way,
As if so sure a nest was never shaped on spray.

Good Friday reflection….. Lonely is the Way of the Prophet,

“The Way of the Prophets is a trail of tears. I have commissioned you to be prophets to this generation. Consequently, they will ridicule and revile you, saying all kinds of bad things about you. What? Don’t you know that they have always rejected the prophets whom I have sent among them?….
The prophet is alone with the Eloheim, for of all mortals, it is he who sees the reality which he cannot convey to his people. Lonely is the Way of the Prophet, but if he brings one soul one step closer to Light, all his loneliness and grief is justified, for great will be his joy in the heavenly realm, and he will become a great company at the seat of the Highest.”

Eastertide . . . Maundy Thursday

  Holy Thursday
And in this frigid hour, when the earth
Smells of human dust and is so sad,
I want to knock on every door
And beg forgiveness of I don’t know whom,
And bake bits of fresh bread for him (or her)
Here, in the oven of my heart…!

Giver of life!

Giver of life, give me strength

that I may do my work with

consideration, true to the goal

to watch out for those whose life

have been entrusted to my care,

Keep my lips from

offending words, give me clear

eyes, to see the good in others.

Give me gentle hands, a kind

heart and patient soul. That

through your grace pain is

soothed, sick bodies are being

healed, the mind is strengthened,

may the living rise again.

Lenten Thoughts #5…..As we awaken in the vast wonder of God.

Everything becomes sacred when we walk with God.
Every leaf, every tree, every eye, and open heart.
The ground we work and plant.
The words we write and sing.
The ones we bless and honor…
Every person becomes Beloved
As we awaken in the vast wonder of God.”

Lenten Thoughts #4 . . . . Praying with the Earth

May the angels of light
glisten for us this day.
May the sparks of God’s beauty
dance in the eyes of those we love.
May the universe
be on fire with Presence for us this day.
May the sun’s rising
grace us with gratitude
Let earth’s greenest shine
and it’s waters breathe with Spirit.
Let heaven’s winds stir with the soil of our soul
and fresh awakenings rise within us.
May the mighty angels of light
glisten in all things this day
May they summon us to reverence,
may they call us to life.
