How far can one go with a single matchstick across the ocean of darkness? Maybe not more than a few yards, maybe not more than a few moments of ephemeral respite. But a matchstick surely is enough to make you visible to the creatures of light…………creatures to descend in flocks and flocks and to take your yearning soul towards the endless stream of light.
