Remembrance Day
Today we remember all whose lives have been, and continue to be, impacted by war and violence throughout the world.
We speak the names of those we know who served our country in so many wars and those who serve today.
We give thanks for the freedom we enjoy today because of their bravery and sacrifice.
We reverence friends and family members forever impacted by the effects of war on those who returned.
We pray for lasting peace today especially in Ukraine and all other countries being torn apart by war.
May peace be on the lips and in the hearts of all leaders, may peace be on our own lips and in our hearts.
We remember…we speak…we give thanks…we pray…lest we forget.
