One day you will rest into love.

One day, when it knocks, you will accept it, bravely and without fear.

Open the door,

Nod in recognition.

And let it in.

One day you will fall, peacefully, my darling, into trust.

One day, when the curtains flutter out you’ll draw them open,

Consciously. And completely;

Not because you are foolish –

But because you have been made wise.

Burned through to your True Nature. Your Unbreakable Self.

In life’s dark fires.

~

One day, when you are ready, you will hear the song of your soul.

And on that day, when you reach the world’s great towers,

They will mean nothing;

Wholly and irretrievably,

And instead, find yourself descending

Into Who You Are.

~

One day, dear one, you will Regather,

Return. Remember

All of those lost treasures.

Lost in love. Lost from trust.

And rebirth them back to being,

Where they belong.
