The forest has always been a place, in fairy tales and in Shakespeare, where you go and discover who you are. You get stripped of everything you thought you were, some type of ordeal takes place, and you come out stronger. ~David Farr

I ditto the beautiful place. I’m Australian and aside from rainforests we tend to call our forests “the bush”. I’ve been helping a friend research his father’s story of escaping from Poland as a bomber pilot in WWII and the forest seemed to be filled with all sorts of characters getting around after dark. It’s a gripping story especially after what seems like the best part of the last two years in lockdown at home.
Best wishes,
Rowena
