#TenderTuesday . . . Standing underneath the stars

Standing underneath the stars
How I wonder, is this world really ours
As we destroy and we abuse
We have so much to lose

With all the suffering in the world right now
No one knows how
To stop it, and to say
Why, do we take for granted another day

Most days I feel so small
How could I ever stand up tall
Weighed down by nature’s cries
While all around our wild life dies

  1. I think one of the hardest things in this life is to watch the horror and destruction around us, knowing we are NOT like that, would never BE that, yet have to experience it just the same. We nurture at the same time others negate. Universe help us!
