One day, a rich dad took his son on a trip. Wanted to show him how poor someone can be. They spent time on the farm of a poor family. On the way home, dad asked, “Did you see how poor they are? What did you learn?”
Son said, “We have one dog, they have four, we have pool, they have rivers, we have lanterns at night, they have stars, we buy foods, they grow theirs, we have walls to protect us, they have no walls but lot of friends , we have encyclopedias, they have Bible.”
Then he added, “Thanks dad for showing me all this. Now I have realized how poor we are.”
I couldn’t help but burst into laughter at the end.

I am sure you did not see the Prof’s comment! I have seen it happen on many occasions……two (or, more) minds in different locations and without any mutual consent, simultaneously thinking in the same words! Had a big smile when I saw both comments! Warm regards!

Thank you for the marvelous wisdom. I come from an Iowa farm family. I really appreciate how poor the “City Rich” really are. Silentlyheardonce sent me here.

Always a joy to cross the path of one who can “hear and follow” the prompting of “our friends from the styx”! If my comment does not ring any bell, please ignore! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
