Count Your Blessings!

Count Your Blessings!

Grieve not about your failures and disappointments!
But, if you must sometimes do,
Think also of the good lessons you learnt therefrom
For they are blessings to count!

Grieve not about your failures and disappointments
Instead, give thanks to providence and be happy!
For they were carefully placed on your path,
To multiply your blessings
Beyond your dreams

  1. It should be obvious but you do need to say it. So many I know are guilty of the opposite even myself at a time and now I make it a conscious effort to do this. xx

  2. This has been a frequent theme in many of my recent conversations. There are good aspects and bad aspects to nearly every experience, which is to say, pleasant and unpleasant, beneficial and detrimental to what we are trying to do. The question is which one do we pay the most attention to. Do we choose to live in a state of appreciation, or a state of discontent?

  3. This is amazing timing to me. It was pointed out to me recently to write down 10 things a day to be thankful for. I immediately panicked and asked “Can I write the same thing twice two days in a row?” Of course I can – for a roof over my head, the very very least.

Thing is, I found myself discovering more, and truly, simply my health is a blessing.

    Great post :)

  7. Ask for forgiveness when you commit a crime
try to do good deeds to wash away your sins
goodness may come your way by fate

  10. Thanks for your ‘Like’ on my post. Your anxiety directed to spiritual pursuit is appealing, I did relish the approach. Sumptuously rich as it appears to be contents wise, I feel like following your blog and this I am doing right now.

  11. Lord,

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes For ever, even unto the end. Therefore I love thy commandments Above gold, yea, above fine gold. Let my lips utter praise; For thou teachest me thy statutes. Let my tongue sing of thy word; For all thy commandments are righteousness.

    From: Psalm 139:16, Philippians 4:8, Psalm 119:112, 127, 171, 172
